Electrical Safety & Lockout/Tagout
"Lockout/tagout" refers to specific practices and procedures to safeguard employees from the unexpected energization or startup of machinery and equipment, or the release of hazardous energy during service or maintenance activities.
Learning Outcomes
Learn about contact with a hazard while performing tasks that require the removal, by-passing, or deactivation of safe guarding devices.
Learn about the unintended release of hazardous energy (stored energy).
Learn about the unintended start-up or motion of machinery, equipment, or processes.
OSHA Requirement
Our trainers are authorized by OSHA to conduct this training and students receive course completion cards. The OSHA Outreach Training Program is not a certification program.
